Known as the “best Peruvian chicken in the DMV” by @washingtonianmag. This quick serve chicken joint is one of my go-to’s when I’m at the home office in Laurel. They have a setup similar to a school lunch counter where you pick your protein type and amount (3-piece, quarter, half or whole chicken), then your sides, which you have a ton to choose from including white rice with or without black beans, mixed veggies, fried yuca or plantains, green beans, brussels sprouts & carrots, French fries, & so much more. They also have a plethora of Peruvian desserts to choose if you’ve got the sweet tooth for it – tres leches, flan, rice pudding, and a variety of cakes and parfaits in a multitude of flavors.
My regular order includes a quarter-serving of dark meat chicken – marinated Purdue Farm fresh Grade A all-natural charcoal roasted rotisserie chicken, with a side of brussels sprouts & carrots and white rice.
