For this #TBT I decided to share one of the restaurants lost during the Covid shutdown. Volt (@voltresto) in downtown Frederick. Thursdays at Volt were special during happy hour, it was Tiki Thursday which included bartenders in Hawaiian shirts & tropical-themed cocktails in fun glassware. The secret Volt Happy Hour special was a cocktail and a burger for $15, an absolute steal of a deal! Whenever we visited Volt during HH we 100% ordered this combo (pictured above).
Thankfully, even though Volt may have shut down, chef @bryanvoltaggio reopened the same space as @thacherandrye, which we visit just as often if not more so. The HH burger + cocktail deal has not made its appearance yet and neither has Tiki Thursdays, but maybe one day… a girl can dream.
