Victoria Gastro Pub is a staple in Columbia, MD. A warm, inviting setting with innovative versions of classic pub fare and gourmet comfort food, an extensive beer & wine list, and exceptional cocktails all located in a fun, Euro-style pub setting.
Sitting in the bar is the go-to move for happy hour specials and interacting with the friendly bartenders and wait-staff.
Tip #1. You have to start with the cornbread muffins with honey butter for spreading. They are warm, fresh-baked and absolutely delicious.
Tip #2. Duck Fat Fries are a must!! Fried to perfection tossed in truffle and sea salt with a roasted garlic aioli for dipping.
My go-to entrée is the Cobb Salad which includes Bacon, Blue Cheese, Hard Boiled Egg, Pretzel Croutons (honey mustard pretzel pieces!!), Avocado, Tomatoes, with a Balsamic Vinaigrette. I’m not usually a salad person when I go out to eat but whenever I visit the Victoria Gastro Pub I have to order this salad, it’s that good. Tip #3. Don’t be afraid to order a salad at a pub. Every component comes together to make the Cobb Salad something special.
Victoria is also known for their extensive and impressive beer options. When we visited back in June they had a large array of beers from Veil, a popular craft brewery located in Richmond, VA. Tip #4. Order a flight. You’ll get to try several of their draft beers that may not be on top the next time you come in.
