Ice cream flights, decadent milkshakes, and elaborate ice cream sundaes can all be found at the downtown Frederick location of South Mountain Creamery.
I ordered one of the “over the top milkshakes” called But First…Coffee! which is coffee ice cream mixed into a milkshake, topped with chocolate sauce, chocolate chips, caramel, chocolate covered espresso beans, whipped cream and a cherry on top.
My husband ordered one of their “over the top sundaes” called Country Roads, Take Me Home which has 2 scoops of Dirt Road ice cream, a scoop of sea salted caramel ice cream, a fresh out of the oven fudge brownie, topped with marshmallows, caramel, chocolate sprinkles, whipped cream and a cherry.
