I have been attending the MD Renn Fest since 2015 or so… we always dress up, eat lots of foods on a stick & drink way too many Snake Bites/Bee Stings. The Renn Fest has a ton of fun shows to watch throughout the day including juggling, comedy shows, jousting, sword fighting, and so much more! There are lots of fun foods you can enjoy while you’re there as well – soft pretzels, turkey legs, fried mac & cheese on a stick, baked potatoes, sausage on a stick, beef jerky, key lime pie or cheesecake on a stick, and a ton of other amazing options. There are also tons of vendors and artisans selling hand-made items from swords, stained glass, wooden furniture, jewelry & pretty much anything you can imagine.
The MD Renn Fest is open on weekends from the end of August through the end of October. This year the last chance to go is October 24th so buy those tickets while you still can!
