Blaze is one of my go-to lunch spots when I’m visiting my office in Laurel, MD. Blaze gives you the ability to build-your-own pizzas assembly-line style.
I’m a sucker for their Special 11-inch personal pizza called the Red Vine. The Red Vine is Blaze’s take on a classic Margarita pizza which includes fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, parmesan, fresh basil, their signature red sauce and an olive oil drizzle. I top mine with some sea salt and oregano at the end. The crust is thin and crunchy and the toppings are sweet, salty and just cheesy enough.
For dessert, their chocolate chip cookie sprinkled with sea salt is a must. At your request, they’ll set the cookie at the edge of the brick oven to let it warm up, making those chocolate chips melt to perfection. This is the perfect treat to finish off your meal. Do yourself a favor and go get one asap.
