EAT & DRINK AT Old Westminster Winery | Westminster, MD

We visited Old Westminster Winery on a Friday morning to try out their new brunch offerings. We started with their scratch-made donut board which includes a flight of all of their current donut offerings. The donuts are prepared fresh daily and are more of a cake-like consistency which is my favorite style of donut. The flavors included:

-Cinnamon Sugar: vanilla donut rolled in a cinnamon sugar mix
-Vanilla Bean: vanilla donut w/ fresh vanilla bean glaze
-Death by Chocolate: chocolate donut w/ cocoa powder glaze & chocolate sprinkles
-Maple Pecan: vanilla donut w/ maple syrup glaze & salted dry-roasted pecans
-Strawberry Lemon: vanilla donut w/ local strawberry slices w/ strawberry glaze & stripes of lemon glaze
-Cookie Crumble: chocolate donut w/ vanilla glaze & dark chocolate walnut cookie

To accompany the Donut Flight, I ordered the Brunch wine flight which includes small pours of Pet Nat Riesling, 2021 After Hours, Lavender Rose’ Punch, and Fruit Sangria.

After a few glasses of wine, our donut flight, and a cold brew iced coffee we finished brunch with a Margherita-style pizza- hand-crafted and cooked in their wood fire oven.
