On April 14th 2018 I got engaged at Old Westminster Winery. 🍷💍❤️ 3 years later, on the anniversary of this memorable day, it seemed like the perfect excuse to share this gem of a winery with you all.

Old Westminster is a family-owned business located in the hills of Carrol County. They source everything for their various food options (Pizza, Charcuterie Boards, Soups, etc.) from local organic family farms. This is the perfect spot to enjoy delicious wine by the bottle, glass or can, rotating frequently depending on what’s in season.

I may be bias since the 2 times I’ve visited Old Westminster happened to be on my birthday in the summer of 2017 and then again when my now-husband secretly rented out the entire venue and proposed to me back in April 2018. Besides those 2 visits, we frequently order their wine for free local delivery as well as buy their beautifully designed cans of wine, available at a ton of DMV liquor stores.

If you decide to visit the winery and tasting room, they have a large outdoor seating area (& a large indoor area, Covid-restriction permitting) as well as plenty of grass space to spread out.
