I visited Firestone’s with another foodie (@east.coast.bite) for their weekday Happy Hour this past week. We ordered the fried green tomatoes- paired with pimento cheese and a micro green salad, the house cured pork belly with a hoisin glaze on a bed of sweet & spicy slaw, and a cheese & charcuterie board with our three choices- prosciutto, chatham creamery camembert cheese and beemster xo gouda.

After completely stuffing ourselves with drinks and apps, we of course had to order three desserts to share. 😍 We chose the Coffee Bavorios- dulche de leche, coconut sorbet, topped with crumbled kit kats, the Exploded Strawberry Rhubarb Cobbler- an oat crumble, sweet biscuits and vanilla ice cream, and the Peanut Butter Bombe- toasted marshmallow smear, caramelized banana puree and a strawberry coulis.
