According to their website, “Duck Duck Goose is both a destination and a neighborhood gem, accessible for ordinary to extraordinary moments.” My husband & I first visited DDG’s Baltimore location on the morning after our wedding (May 2019) so this definitely rings true to us. We were able to celebrate such a special moment with some delicious French-inspired fare and hand-crafted, bottomless cocktails.
A year and a half later (Sept 2020), for my husband’s (Covid-edition) birthday, we made the trip to DDG’s Bethesda location. Their beef tartare was to die for. We could’ve eaten several orders if we didn’t have to save room for the rest of our meal. In order to try as many dishes as our stomachs could fit, we both split an order of the DDG Burger topped with foie gras and an order of shrimp and grits, both decedent and absolutely delicious. Their Baltimore and Bethesda locations are a must visit, transporting you to Paris, but leaving pretentiousness behind.
