Taco Tuesday and National Margarita Day fell on the same day this year, 2/22/2022 so of course we had to visit Cacique in downtown Frederick to get our fix.
Drinks - a classic House Margarita with a salted rim & a glass of House Sangria - a mix of red burgundy wine, fruity liquors, fruit juices, and diced fresh fruits.
For dinner I got the Chef’s Special Tacos de Barbacoa - two fresh tortillas, open face with pork barbacoa and topped with Monterey jack cheese, sour cream, onions, and cilantro. Served with Mexican rice and refried beans.
