Fourth of July brunch at Thacher & Rye included food at the indoor bar, live jazz on the patio, & drinks at Thacher’s new outdoor bar called “The Shed”.
We started off our meal by splitting an order of their hot and crispy fries with some delicious dipping sauces. I think I burnt my mouth with the first 10 bites but it was oh so worth it. For my meal I ordered the Scallops with jasmine rice, pineapple, and chili garlic crunch. I washed it down with a delicious ice-cold orange crush. My husband ordered the Sausage and Biscuits made with buttermilk fried chicken, sausage gravy, and scallion cheddar biscuits.
After eating we went outside to “The Shed”- the new outdoor bar located on the patio at Thacher & Rye. While outside I ordered a can of @oldwestminsterwinery ‘s Raw Rose & my husband ordered a Paloma Crush. While sipping our drinks we enjoyed some relaxing jazz music in the shade which made it the perfect Fourth of July afternoon.
