EAT AT The Food Market (again) | Columbia, MD
@thefoodmarketcolumbia
So nice I tried it twice, or three times…
At this point we’ve visited the new Food Market location in Columbia twice, once for dinner and once for brunch. We’ll be visiting again for dinner tonight with my parents to celebrate my belated birthday. I figured it was a good excuse to share what we ate when we visited for brunch last weekend, since it was so damn good. Scroll back to my June 1st posting to view our previous dinner selections.
Here’s what we ate/drank:
>> Drinks: a mimosa (or two for me), the "grace slick mimosa" for my mother-in-law, the "pimlico playboy" for my father-in-law, and the "now that's what i call a mule vol. 4" for my husband.
>> Apps: After going heavy on the apps at our previous dinner outing here at TFM, we ‘only’ chose 3 apps to start off brunch with: amish soft pretzels with a beer-cheese fondue, the French toast dippers- tempura battered, maple cream cheese fondue, and the warm & gooey lil Heathbar pancakes with warm maple syrup.
>> Brunchies: Smokey Bowl- bacon, gouda cream, potato gratin, dippy eggs, english muffin, hollandaise, chives, aleppo pepper flakes; Fried Oyster Omelette- bacon, arugula, tomato, cheddar, black hot, with a side of breakfast potatoes; Turkey Sausage Tacos- whipped avocado, scrambled eggs, pico, cotija cheese, black hot, breakfast potatoes; and the Dry Rubbed steak & Eggs- 2 eggs any style, potato gratin, truffle oil, 26th street sauce.
