EAT AT Spargos | Manchester, MD
Located in the downtown main street area of Manchester, MD in Carrol County. Just south of the Pennsylvania line, this area definitely has a small-town feel. When I walked in, I felt like I was the only one there who wasn’t known by name. I was meeting up with 3 friends to plan a bridal shower so luckily, they sat us in the back banquet hall area. We had plenty of room to spread out with our food, notebooks, and coffees. We sat there for hours, enjoying each other’s company and the delicious breakfast food Spargo’s had to offer.
What we ordered: Avocado Hash Bowl Breakfast- two eggs any style (poached for me), hash, avocado, bacon, tomatoes, seasoned home fries and melted cheddar & Monterey jack cheese, served with toast, the Breakfast Quesadillas- scrambled eggs, choice of meat (bacon, sausage, ham, or scrapple) with cheddar & Monterey Jack cheese. Served with salsa and sour cream on the side, and the Country Fried Steak & Eggs Breakfast- two eggs any style with our hand-breaded country fried steak smothered in sausage gravy. Served with home fries and toast. We also ordered a few cinnamon swirl pancakes because they looked (and were) amazing!
