Are you still in the weekend state of mind or already planning your weekday after work happy hour? Look no further than Sidebar in downtown Leesburg.

SideBar is literally a hidden gem in the super cute area of downtown Leesburg. The front door is a place you’d walk by if you don’t know it was there. This is the best happy hour in the Leesburg area. From 2-6pm, their happy hour prices depend upon the hour. At 2pm, everything on HH special (draft wine & beer and a few other goodies) is $2, at 3pm prices rise to $3, and so on until the end of HH at 6pm. During HH they also have a list of $5 food items so you can taste an array of items on a budget.

My husband & I visited on a weekday afternoon for drinks and dessert. I grabbed a few glasses of rosé and had to grab the “Treat Yo Self” after watching a waiter walk by with it in hand. The Treat Yo Self includes deep fried chocolate chip cookie dough and vanilla ice cream, topped with whipped cream and a chocolate and caramel drizzle. This dessert is so indulgent and sugary sweet- exactly what you want at the end of a meal or on its own.
