Oysters on the Half Shell are a must appetizer. 🦪 If you ask nicely the owner will even come over and give you a demonstration if you’re a newbie like me.
My favorite entrees include the shellfish risotto- saffron Arborio rice with shrimp, mussels, scallops topped with parmesan cheese, and the “open face” pot pie- filled with shrimp, crab, fish, potato, carrots, onion, and peas simmered in a zesty cream sauce served with warm puffed pastry wedges.
They have some pretty fantastic dessert options as well. My families go-to’s include the double crust key lime pie- not too sweet, not too tart, house-made key lime pie layered with a double graham cracker crust, topped with lime whipped cream and drizzled with strawberry sauce & the ultimate chocolate cake- rich, triple layer chocolate cake topped with house-made whipped cream.
