Georgetown Cupcakes have been a yearly birthday gift from my in-laws and one of my favorite traditions. I’ve never visited any of their shops but have had orders picked up by in mother-in-law and shipped to my wedding venue, so you could say I’m a dedicated fan. They have a large array of regular everyday flavors to pick from as well as daily and monthly specials.
All of their cupcakes are beautifully decorated, moist, and have just enough icing.
My favorite flavors include:
*Salted Caramel- Caramel cupcake with a salted caramel-infused buttercream frosting topped with a caramel drizzle,
*Coffee Cookies & Crème- Cookies & Creme cupcake topped with coffee and cookie-infused buttercream frosting,
*Unicorn- classic Madagascar vanilla cupcake infused with nonpareils and topped with purple-tinted Madagascar vanilla buttercream frosting, rainbow sprinkles, and a whimsical fondant unicorn,
*Mermaid Vanilla- vanilla cupcake infused with sparkling blue sanding sugar, topped with baby blue vanilla buttercream frosting, sparkling blue sanding sugar and a green fondant mermaid tail,
*and the Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip- salted caramel cupcake studded with Callebaut chocolate chips, topped with a salted caramel buttercream frosting, fudge and caramel drizzles, and Callebaut chocolate chips.
