EAT AT Buford’s Biscuits | Leesburg, VA
@bufordsbiscuits
Comforting, scratch-made, southern-style biscuits can be found in downtown Leesburg at Buford’s Biscuits. This 7-table dining room with a walk-up ordering area and wrap around bar-style seating fills this small, historic building in Leesburg. Open Thursdays through Sundays for breakfast & brunch, this is the place to be!
We made the trek to Buford’s on a Saturday morning for “The Cure”, a large biscuit cut in half, filled with melted Tillamook cheddar, a large piece of fried chicken, topped with gravy & a perfectly runny poached egg. This can either be “The Cure” to a morning hangover or just the perfect way to start your morning. This bad boy could probably feed 2 people on its own, but of course my husband & I each had to order our own.
We also had to get an order of the Hushpuppies with a side of molasses butter, so decadent and rich, as well as their “Cathead” with a flight of their seasonal jams. Cat Head Biscuits are so named because they are ‘as big as a cat's head.’ This just means they’re big yet light & tender.
Drinks- @loneoakcoffeeco hot coffee for my husband and @aperturecoffee_ cold brew coffee for me.
